Is first horse on course at 11am tomorrow?

The American was Monica Spencer on Artist, a really lovely test and gorgeous horse! I was hoping to go to Burghley this year as I've never been but I health has been a bit iffy of late so decided to get the Burghley TV subscription and making the most of it. There have been some super tests, Carl's commentary was really excellent and I also enjoyed his masterclass, I wish it had been early on Thursday as it really explained the difficulties of the test. He liked the new test and the influence of the walk piris followed by trot really sorted horses out. WF-P didn't like the test and was quite vocal about it, haven't watched his masterclass yet as I'm saving it for this evening. I really enjoyed the trot up on Wednesday and actually felt quite nervous for some of the riders as it could be quite hairy. I am really looking forward to XC, it looks very challenging, just hope everyone stays safe.
Just a clarification - Monica's not American, she's a Kiwi and the lovely Artist is a NZ bred OTTB who came through one of the OTTB rehomers here (Eventstars Ltd). Monica and her family moved to the States earlier in the year.
Isaac has so much talent but seems to fall apart on the XC (he did at badminton). Such a shame.
Maverick was a bit bouncy in the start box but he went straight off the leaf pit just now.
Yes, I wondered why they were on the inexperienced ones tooHope Pippa's ok! Banged her face and landed back onto stirrup which had flicked onto saddle - ouch. Interesting that an innocuous hedge after the ditch is causing issues. So 2 of our top ladies have retired. Let's hope Maya's Hope and Walter do better.
Do multiple riders choose the order they ride which horse when? If so wouldn't it be logical for Ros and Pippa to take their more reliable horses first?
Oh Isaac, all that talent
To be honest I think you're behind the times. The sport isn't going in "that direction" any more. Frangibles and the time element are becoming much more relevant in modern course design. Good x-country and showjumping are becoming paramount again. Starting to see more TB's coming through which I love!As smart and fancy as he is, he is everything I don’t like about the way the sport is going. Too fancy and has to be too produced. Doesnt have the true xc brain for me. He will still get some big wins I’m sure, but this isn’t the sport imo.
