See I thought he wasn't right either long before he finished but I thought I was perhaps seeing things (given Harry didn't pull up)
I said to my OH he was wrong and he pointed out (fairly!) that more experienced people than me didn’t see it.

I'm surprised HM didn't pull up, given how lame he looked when finished.

Can't help but feel if it was another rider, they would have perhaps been pulled up by the GJ.

Hope both his & Tom's horse are OK though.

Harry's horse was making heavy weather of the course from early on but that seemed partly greeness and maybe lack of scope. Wonder he was in fact sore from early on?

Other riders would get slaughtered for less 🤔.

To me ( and tbh unless they wave a leg at me I think they are fine) it was only after he jumped onto the slate mine. Before that he just looked green, IMO.

Thanks for your company, folks. Got square ⏹️ eyes now, though 😵‍💫.

Found that I didn't miss walking the XC in person this year, which we normally do. The route of the course is so familiar, whether clockwise or anticlockwise, that it was easy to clock just where the fences were sited, the layout and the rise/fall of the terrain.

Burghley tv coverage was excellent, barring not showing the competitors live time on the course.

Trot up 9am tomorrow.

Hoping for good news about Toledo, Harry's horse and any other sore or injured horses.

Same… and fed up dogs!
I agree I was glad I had been there a few times so could picture that layout.

I’ve got to go and watch all the ones i missed while customers were here (most of the big guns!).

From what I saw, it was a good year. Lots of shake ups and issues, but no crashing falls.

Can anyone see any results anywhere as I cannot get any on the Burghley website page. Eventing scores just goes direct to that page when I tried it!!

Hi everyone, I have been watching all day too but no time to chat here! Excellent coverage, really enjoyed it. Didn’t realise about Harry’s horse, what a shame. They didn’t show us what happened to Toledo, did they? Who would have thought Oliver would only complete on one horse. At least he retired Swallow quickly when he had a mistake. He has never quite gelled with that horse, his riding is so different froM Andrew.
So pleased for David Doel who I have been following for some time. Once his dressage catches up with his jumping, he will be unbeatable. Great xc rider.
Looking forward to tomorrow except I have the added interest and nerves of my granddaughter competing in the Sports Pony Final in the second ring!
I found results there no problem Velcro!
Yes, all there under Results and Running Order.

Grrrr why isn't the coverage up on burghly tv yet!

Did you find it? I can only find part three. No sign of parts one and two. I had the same problem on Thursday, could only find the last part. The live stream was great (although I wish it would pause) but afterwards it’s not easy to use.

They showed Toledo pulling up, hopping lame behind. Being dismounted. That was all.
