Maybe a different type of cheeky..? Anyone interested??

Hi All. Looking for any equestrian women who would be interested in testing out a whole range of whips. On ME not on horses!! I already have a local equestrian lady but looking for a second. Please message me for details. Genuine request. Thanks, Jason
I can imagine that could be a good way to get rid of any anger that day😂

In response to a FB ad that had a clear pricetag:

How much would it cost? Or do we not need to pay. And will I be to tall? Because I’m looking for a horse to ride that doesn’t cost. I’m 18 a novice rider not brilliant but want to get better I can walk trot and canter I’m happy to help and train him more ? Only curious if not I’ll keep looking thank u

I've corrected the spelling to make it slightly more comprehensible.

WANTED:

Allrounder/eventer
No cobs or Tbs
ISH type
For tall teenager coming off ponies
Totally straightforward in every way
Established BE/BS - ‘got the t shirt’
8-12
16-16.2
Nice person
Will take a miss
Absolutely no stoppers
Good to hack
Nothing on vet record and clean X-rays

Aaaaaaand…

No silly prices!

The no silly prices ones seriously irritate me! Shorthand for I want literally the perfect horse, but I refuse to accept I need to pay for it.

They might mean they don't want to pay 30k. Or they might mean they have 12k for which you'd get some of what is on that list. Or they might mean they are hoping for mid-4s...

Im guessing 4 figures! You see horses like that advertised at about 15-20k. So I assume it’s those price tags that are being deemed ‘silly’.

I had a 12k budget I’d say something like ‘decent budget but not unlimited’ or ‘optimistic but realistic budget!’ And hope I got lucky.

‘No silly prices’ is just rude!

I am seeing a lot of chancers advertising distinctly average animals, often with issues (sarcoids, prior injuries etc) for really quite ridiculous prices. I realise that demand has driven prices up but I’ve seen a few “I can’t believe he’s not sold!” from owners with an extortionate price tag on something they’d have been lucky to get £850 for pre-covid.
