Sending speedy recovery wishes, hope she’s past the worst of it and she’s feeling back to normal by morning

She was lying down this morning but got up on seeing me. Had done 2 squitty poos but bed not trashed so don’t think she’s been overly uncomfortable, and she was keen for breakfast (tiny handful of chaff). She’s gone out this morning with Polly and has been happily grazing since. Friends checking her again when they get down and I’ll pop down between dogs today.
Thank you all again, I’ll update again later.

I’m not convinced she’s quite right. Went to check on her again in field and she was lying down, albeit grazing while doing so. She wouldn’t normally lie down at this time of day when she’s been in overnight. Went over and watched her for a few minutes and then she got up and started grazing as normal. I left the field but hid and watched from a distance for a while and she carried on grazing with no signs of anything being wrong.

I’ve juggled some dogs round so going back in an hour to check again and if I’m not happy I’ll ring the vet again. Low level colic scares me just as much if I’m honest, it’s how Jack was before they took him in and found out he had cecal impaction. I will probably ask them to admit her if she’s still not right later, I’ve learnt the hard way.

Is there plenty of noise coming from her gut?

Sending you more good vibes.

Like you I've had too much experience of colic, and I'd say if you aren't happy then you're right to go with that feeling and get a vet back out (((hugs)))
