Only just read this thread. You must be as exhausted as she has been. Do hope things have settled and it was just temporary effects of the autumn flush of grass.
Leaves or acorns?Little update- Millie seems back to normal in herself, but is still suffering from very loose droppings, cow pat style.
It’s not all the time, it tends to be the ones I pick up in the field rather than what she does overnight in the stable.
She’s been on the same field all summer, nothing has changed feed or hay wise. I’m stumped.

Grass is a bit odd at the moment. My PSSM mare is usually ok by now but even on restricted she's as tight as I've known her in her hindquarters.
Can you feed more hay if she's ok on that?
I've never tried gut bind but quick fix is a miracle. She’s in at night with hay, but I could chuck some out in the field I suppose, although I do try to monitor how much she eats because she’s a ridiculous good doer. They are both hungry coming in at the moment. The field still has plenty on it but they obviously don’t think so ?
Wonder if it’s worth ordering one of those Protexin gut bind syringes?
Have you worm checked her recently? Had a horse laying down a lot like this and funny poos in autumn, turned out to be worm burden. You’ve obviously had her a while so probably not, but worth a check just in case
