guy wearing riding tights

This post has cheered me up no end!

OP, can you imagine if a guy came on here and posted ‘there’s this woman on my yard and she’s wearing riding tights. Only I haven‘t seen women wearing this before and I’d like to get the thoughts from others as to what I should think about it and whether it is ok for this woman to wear what’s comfortable for her and suits her purpose. One of the reasons I want others to tell me what I should think about it is because there is some small indication of what her underlying physical anatomy might be (although she’s taken steps to minimise this)’...

Funny story... a few years ago I was parked in the front of my barn (car nose towards the field) waiting for the farrier to arrive. I was reading a book, so just sitting quietly in my car; the next thing I know my YO is standing beside my car peeing against the fence post (yes, in rural France people just whip out their junk and pee anywhere). YO hadn’t realized I was sitting in the car at the time, which caused a little consternation after the fact.

back on topic... why is anyone’s attire any business but their own?

I looked at OP and All, just in the interests of deciding if it is just a wind up or not, and I can tell you that there are photos. Not a prop forward rugby player, more of a front row man, I am guessing. But it looks like a real person, in breeches.
Where did you find pictures???

Where did you find pictures???

As I said, I was just looking as I thought it was a wind up, but found pictures, so I think All is a real person, who started the forum with a genuine question about breeches.

I feel that sharing pictures would overstep a boundary!

A very odd yet entertaining thread. I'm not sure how well a post would be received if the genders were flipped in reverse!

Most people have stated unequivocally that the man should wear whatever he is comfortable in, and that OP was starting a weird line of enquiry that no one seems to understand or agree with.

??? what a thread.

What are our views of ties in office attire? They literally point to the penis. In fact they serve no other purpose but to point to the penis.

That has nearly caused my keyboard to be covered in tea!

Probably have the exact same response that the OP has had on this thread.

In general life I find men much much more prone to discussing the appropriateness or not of someone's attire than women. Women might discuss if someone's outfit looks rubbish, scruffy etc, but it's invariably men that talk in terms of 'appropriate' dress.

I am glad that all / ally is a good lad not going nuts because of me and my post

We had a good laugh and chat about it earlier

It would be entertaining, only I suspect what this is is actually not so cute.

I suspect this is just thinly veiled attempt by someone to create a false male persona that can then strike up conversations with what is perceived to be a majority women forum, starting immediately with what is likely to be comments about partially exposed nether regions.

And I suspect it is the same person who has created the other, multiple threads about tightly fitting riding attire on men.

I agree. I suspected immediately that having failed a few months back to get a reaction on the first thread he started, (and the only thread he had ever commented on, the one with photos on), this is another logon for the same poster, set up so that he can create a conversation with himself in the hope others will then join in.

As long as they’re not see through what’s the problem?

Male riders I know have preferred to ride in breeches with pleats because of a difference in build and expected fashion/style with their female counterparts but I don’t see a problem either way.

Oh my word how vulgar..... can you actually see his bulge? You'd think any self respecting gentleman would not subject us poor innocent females to such vulgarity!!!! ???

*Swans of in extremely tight corset to promenade in Bridgerton manner*

*might suggest my hubby get a pair as I know he struggles to find comfortable and reasonably priced breaches for male riders*

Sadly in my experience the most judgmental on the topic of appropriate attire has been older women. I had one old trout tell me once I ‘deserved to be raped’ because I was wearing a full length fine muslin dress over a bikini and you could just about see the outline of the swimwear through the cloth. Granted this was in a reasonably conservative part of South Africa so I’m hoping attitudes have changed... Touch wood no guy has ever commented on my outfit other than my OH telling me I look nice. To be fair though I am taller than most blokes so they probably don’t dare!

Now that I do complain about when I'm in a cafe, sat down, and they walk past me with it all at eye height just as I'm about to enjoy a bite of my BLT ?
this is something a would like to avoid eg making people uncomfortable around me

if it will make you happy i can put a photo up
if that is what your in to ?

edit
i am not going to it was just to see of some people would stop thinking a am trying to get jollies out of this

this comment probability came over the wrong way !
