How I wish I was looking for a ID mare .
She so reminds of Fatty when he was young , the wrong colour but the expression is so like Fatty as a young horse .
Of course what I really want is a magic wand so I can make Fatty six again .

I looked at her yesterday (if it is the same one). I loved her right until I looked at her movement on the flat on the video. Still, she will make someone happy.

looks super kind and genuine :) however she reminds me of my horses with their short front legs! :o

Oh yeah, and if you find that magic wand GS, gimme a go! I'd love to rewind Millie by 15 years :D

Oh Wow!! I'm sure she will do! I loved her attitude on the XC bits, looked like she was super happy just popping around there.

She has v similar breeding to the late Catembi, who was by Cruising. I originally put a deposit on what I was after, bay (= no bathing) gelding (= not mareish) and light build, but I was too slow as he'd just gone. So I asked the lady what else she had with the most jump, & she said Summer. Ticks none of my pre-decided boxes, but nor did Catembi & we had a brilliant, brilliant time until he got sick & died. So, what the hell, we shall see what turns up if she passes the vet...!

I have had two recently fail the vet that I've found by conventional means, & I'm fed up with sellers not getting back to me, horses not as described etc, so I thought I might as well take a punt as I can't (touch wood...) do worse than I have already, under my own steam...

I put a deposit on her last night. Let's hope she makes me happy, Red-1.

Congratulations, just been talking to a friend of mine who is looking to buy , about this ladies horses, did you look at any of the others she has in, I feel a day trip coming on :)

Alwaysbroke, I didn't view in person! I looked at the adverts for Dancer, Sean, Summer & Ringo (over & over again...!) before plumping for Sean & finding that he was spoken for. I did a bit of digging on here & FB into this lady's reputation & most people who have bought from her seem more than happy. And the advert says she will exchange if not happy...

Her website says that 90% of her horses are sold unseen... I am v v excited to see what will stroll off the ramp in the not too distant future...! I might be mad, but **** it, you only live once & it is all wildly exciting!

Congratulations Catembi!!! I did something very similar buying a 5 year old ID mare unseen from Ireland in March. We have had our ups and downs, she had a tooth issue and is a bit of a hormonal mess some days, and she does like to bounce around on her hinds occasionally, but I wouldn't swap her for the world. A real sweetheart, who is as straightforward as you could ever wish to meet.

Wow just come back in and seen this how wonderful she going to be a HHO online horse.
I can’t wait to heat how it all goes .

Best of luck with her, Catembi - she looks lovely.

And I have serious facility-envy! I'd kill for that surfaced xc track :p

I don’t see anything in the flat work to worry about unless you where wanting something to only pure dressage with .
Just looks like the standard young Irish horse who has not leant to bend and turn properly yet .
And I bet she will Need to on weight watchers when she mature.
