What do you expect coming on a fence lovers forum & sharing that you have made it so sad it bites? Maybe it is irregularly seasoned & needs fenceulate.

I've just set up a " HELP SAVE THE FENCE " Appeal. If you could all pm me with your bank details and amount you would like to donate I will be sure to pass on the proceeds to the fence.

I have just found this thread and I am just disgusted at the way in which you treat your fences. A fence is a commitment for life didn't you know. The way you are talking it's like your fence is just a plank of wood. The fence has feelings you know and it can hear you talking about it like this.

I have created a twitter account, a myspace page, a new facebook page and a google link highlighting the tragedy of the fence.

I am also working on a moving video tribute which will be uploaded to youtube shortly. I have chosen the following songs for my tribute: Fences by Paramore, Timber by the Bee Gees, Shiver me Timber by Cage the Elephant, Timber by Phish and Timber by Neko Case.

I have also contacted my local MP (we have an election coming up see) highlighting the plight of the fence, he will have 2 different radio interviews this afternoon followed by a TV interview tomorrow morning. He too is cursed by the affliction known as Troll-itis, and would be such a handsom chap if not for the mole on his face. Or is that face on his mole.

It's a good job we're not all sat on our backsides doing publicity stunts. Some of us are working away in the field to help fences now. Bet you only turn up when there's a camera or tv show. (fence, camera, action or fence rescue)

Reading the so-called advice on here is seriously worrying me. You are all clearly a bunch of numpties who don't know one end of a fence from the other!
I've had my fence for three whole days so am very experienced in these matters, and my opinion is the only one that counts.
What you haven't mentioned is how old your fence is, and whether or not you have had this problem with it before? Was it backed by a professional if so you have wasted your money as professional help is not necessary as anyone as experienced as me will tell you (if you can find anyone else as experienced as me, which I doubt). Did you back it at 18 months old, turn it away for precisely 4 years and three months, then bring it back into work by taking it hunting on it's first day? I thought not. You are clearly not experienced enough and should sell your fence to the first 60 year old mother who turns up with her 3 year old daughter wanting a safe mother/daughter share to race in point to points.
If you don't take my advice I'll create a new post to slag you off on a daily basis.

Trottingon, I am concerned about your fence, no-where in your post have you mentioned that your fence wears hi viz. What an irresponsible & morally wrong owner you are.

Not one person here has said their fence wanted to be broken!! What choice would your fence make if it had a voice!!

How do you know that your fence wasn't happier out in the wild, living free the way they were before humans interferred and tied them up and made them run around in circles.

All these fences are forced into unnatural environments, covered up to protect them from the environment dangers surrounding us all.

You all ort to be ashamed I tell you.

I have extra-special super-duper hi-viz of course, with "Idiot, Please arrest me" written on it in pink highlighter. I strongly suggest you buy the same to remain safe.

Mine fences are all worked in squares and rectangles, as I simply don't do circles. Also I have never tied a fence down (have lashed a few together with bailer twine though;)).
