Tyler is an exceptional rider and coach, having trained several horses to international GP from scratch. They are all happy, easy horses that do a variety of work including sj and xc and are easy enough for more novice riders! That is really quite rare and true testimony to Tyler’s management and horsemanship.

In my opinion and from what I can see, the condition of the horses is really quite poor. No, they aren’t emaciated but the dramatic and rapid loss of top line and overall coverage is quite evident, often caused by stress. The withers should not resemble a shark fin!
Very sad that so many horse owners cannot recognise this!
Absolutely, and not the condition a horse who is training at the higher levels should be in! A newly backed 4 year old possibly! But not at that age and stage!

Lots of us are muddled on here as to who is being referred to much of the time due to the need for smoke and mirrors to stop getting the thread pulled 🙃.

What does seem to be true is that a GoFundMe recipient can’t automatically refund all donors if circumstances change and the money is no longer needed for the stated cause. The donors need to be refunded individually one at a time.

So far according to GFM there are 2.8k individual donations, and the donations continue to flood in, often in amounts less than £25.

Current total (midday Thurs 15/1/26) is £59,445.

I mean that also wasn’t who IHW was talking about
I mean having looked back through the thread I still think it was 🤷‍♀️
Nevertheless, I don’t think it was a very kind or necessary comment and to give credit where it’s due, had it been referring to the other person in the discussion, she is also very talented rider who many look up to.

Milly D has said it will be given to charity if she does not buy the horse. I hope she is absolutely held to that as she ould easily evidence it. It's a very nice payday for a good cause. 'Another nice horse I saw' would not qualify as 'charity' in the eyes of most donors.

Rugs / physio / content aren't what most folks think of as charity, especially if the money goes into your own bank account and then buys rugs etc for your own horses. All credit to her if she hands it over to a bona fida actual registered charity and they acknowledge receipt of the money.
