Absolutely, and not the condition a horse who is training at the higher levels should be in! A newly backed 4 year old possibly! But not at that age and stage!Tyler is an exceptional rider and coach, having trained several horses to international GP from scratch. They are all happy, easy horses that do a variety of work including sj and xc and are easy enough for more novice riders! That is really quite rare and true testimony to Tyler’s management and horsemanship.
In my opinion and from what I can see, the condition of the horses is really quite poor. No, they aren’t emaciated but the dramatic and rapid loss of top line and overall coverage is quite evident, often caused by stress. The withers should not resemble a shark fin!
Very sad that so many horse owners cannot recognise this!
