I had a nice surprise this morning because i logged onto Discovery+ on my phone to pay for a month so I could watch the Olympics.

Went to my account and it says I have free access as a Sky user. I don't have Sky sports so assumed I'd have to pay.

For anyone in the same position, log into you Discovery+ account on your phone (or set an account up and link it to your Sky account)

On your Sky box go to your apps and find Discovery plus and select log in. Select the log in button, scan the QR code and type the code from the TV screen into your phone and you're good to go

Me too, just doubled up and subscribed directly to Discovery + and now working .... phew!

Watching via a VPN and SkyGo in Italy. Downloaded the app and subscribed via Vodafone but that isn’t co-operating. Flew to Nice yesterday as it is the nearest airport and we had delays and a diversion of route due to the Paris no fly zone.

The tension/anxiety really hit the regularity in places. I was expecting a score nearer 40 if I'm honest
