Michen I have to say this because you are in danger of zapping all of the joy out of the wonderful partnership you have with your boy and that would be a great shame. We can all over analyse every single thing we do with our horses. We all want to be better and feel we are doing them justice, but in truth they don’t care where they finish in the placings or whether they compete at 90 or 100. Why do you compete? For fun. Is it your job? No. You two go out and have a blast. Don’t spoil that.

I have missed that you are going away. Is Bog staying here? Is he not eventing again in the future? How exciting either way.

If that is your plan, and you have a hankering to do a 100, I simply would.

As you say, you feel safe enough XC, and the SJ ones fall down.

Kick on!

Remember that he won't know you have entered a 100. First few fences will be lower anyway.

You are so right, at Waverton the other week I felt a flicker of annoyance for having a pole and TF time faults to not be in the ribbons. And had to quickly remind myself that earlier this year I would have been delighted just for how we stormed around the 90 XC with such ease.

Great advice- thank you! X

Yes hopefully! Don’t want to jinx it as there’s so many moving parts at the moment, just sitting tight and hoping everything comes together.

Bog is coming with me ?❤️

Again great advice- thanks. X
