Women's pentathlon

Love the skewbald! Such a sweet and honest horse!

Shame about the riders, i know they are not usually riders but maybe they should scrap this part. its not nice to watch and not safe for horses or riders. dont get me wrong, they are doing alright for someone who has just met the horse but i dont like it.

I'm sure if they're aiming for the Olympics they work as hard as they can to improve in every discipline ... they've certainly got a lot more guts than me! :p

It's not easy to hop on a strange horse and jump a four foot course unless it's something you do all the time - they might only be riding once or twice a week if they need to fit in running, swimming, shooting, fencing and working full time ...
But thats my point, its something thats hard and so needs to be practised. If its not then there are some serious flaws in the athletes training schedules. Yes it may be expensive but at the end of the day this event as run currently is dangerous for both horse and rider for a large proportion of competitors

Painful to watch at times but also funny at times too.
Makes good TV but i feel sorry for the horses.
I agee it surprising no one has been badly hurt.
Not sure this should be part of the modern pentathlon.

Also saw the mens yesterday and that was no better.
Why was the South Korean allowed to remount after his horse had fallen over with him in the start gate?

its like those idiots who think they can sing and go on the talent shows and their families dont tell them they are rubbish-why doesnt someone tell them they need to have lessons!!!

Well done to the one thats just gone clear :) apart from the wobble when she lost her stirrup, which was understandable, she rode a very smooth round.
