I'm going to follow someone else's idea here and take his passport. Will go down early before anyone and try to avoid everyone until I get some clarification. I wrote to my MP earlier asking what would happen if they announced lockdown but didn't expect it this soon. Really hope he gets back...
Now terrified. Can't stop crying so worried I won't be allowed down. On a livery yard, am the only DIY. Don't think I can cope without being allowed to see my boy. Don't care if I can't ride as he's done suspensory ligament anyway but so worried. No sleep for me tonight.
Aw happy birthday don't bake it but make Mr C's birthday cake by mixing oats, carrot and apple bits together with golden syrup then press it into a wedge shape. It's a sticky mess but he loves his ' cake'.
Sound cute , did you order one? All my boys have had the same name plates, Grandad was a sign writer who had worked for the coop back when they had drays, he made my first two boys replica ones of the plates he remembered from the old coop stables. He'd passed away before I got...
The string thing can be tricky, I usually whittle a hole through with a knife and then push through baler twine with a knitting needle! I string mine from the rafters near the door they spend ages trying to catch it :-).
Be warned picnics tend to make you look nuts :-) and you will be...
Ok none of these might help but here goes, this is what we did for E when he was on box rest:
Radio
Carrots in haynet
Apples in water bucket
Turnip (or cabbage if a bit stopped up) on a string
Squeeky toys ( not for everyone)
6ft Xmas tree with decoration to look at (seasonal)
Additionally...
Had D nasal drenched during a colic episode many years ago (he was part Arab and had narrow nasal passages anyway) he had a heavy nosebleed but was fine after. Hope your furry is ok.
Hi, can't comment on good/bad places for retirement, but as for success stories i can tell you my old riding school successfully sent four to a place somewhere near me (up north and a LONG time ago). All the ponies took to it really well, though two did go together. Occasionally we saw photos...
Ok I've camped in a rover 100 and wild camped loads in a tent, yes it can get cold, was Baltic in the rover, i found my old heavy weight rug over the sleeping bag worked wonders (cleaned of course).
Head torches are great!
Camping stoves for food and hot water are really good if you can't...
10 in the early 90s, but wasn't allowed on the roads until 13. D could be flighty but he always took care of me and my mom trusted him to bring me back home safe :-).
Congratulations! I'd say your probably ok so long as you have gloves and are well ventilated. I had to put steroid cream on Mr C while i was preggers with dd1, used gloves and was fine. Take care and good luck
Second this, D had an old scar on his back when i ygot him, no hair about the size of a 50p price. Cornicresent worked for the most part. Might be worth a shot. Marmite good too for keeping sweetitch at bay :).
Hi thanks for the reply, oh drew a square in a map no father north than longframlington, no further west than Haydon bridge. To be honest we'll whittle t down further by finding nice yards and good schools for the kids. At the moment just doing the research. Cost will be a factor too, keep...
