Yes you would need two memberships. I have absolutely no knowledge of the facts (other than what is publicly available in the form of results for both BD and BE), but my speculation has brought me to the following conclusion.....
There were two competitors with the same name competing at the...
There could still be two people competing with the one name, but only one eliminated due to historic results, rather than them competing under two current memberships. The results for the higher classes are still standing. I would expect that all results for a person would be removed if it was...
I have been thinking about this and when I first heard about it, people were pointing out that she had competed 10 years ago at AM. Are we 100% sure that there weren't two people of the same name competing at the champs and that's just another layer of confusion? If she was competing under two...
I would like to think that they made a mistake. The rules are pretty complicated and seem to change every time the wind does. Maybe I am just naïve.
ETA I have no connection with any of the parties concerned, and it is very sad that the rightful winner didn't get their moment. :(
So sorry for your loss. I lost my previous mare to lymphoma at 13 years old. I can look back now and see there were some indications over the previous couple of months, but in reality I lost her in a week (for most of which I was 300 miles away which didn't help). As in your case, there was...
A couple more thoughts.....
What is he like on the lunge? Due to my previously mentioned issues about worrying about getting it wrong, I train my current mare to canter using a clicking sound, which I then transfer to ridden work. I basically just have her canter a few strides then back to...
I have a really annoying habit of looking to the outside when I am on the right rein, so have had this issue on and off with different horses over the years..... It does become a bit of a cycle, where I get very tight because I think I am going to mess it up, but I do find that...
I can't offer any advice on the oestress. However, you need to bear in mind that because regumate actually stops the cycles, you are unlikely to see an immediate effect. The time it takes to take effect will be based on when in her cycle you started her on it. If she was just about to come...
My labrador started getting a bit of a patchy coat and my vet tested for thyroid issues, which turned out to be the right thing to do in our circumstances. Once on daily tablets, her coat recovered nicely. Might not be that, but may be worth getting her checked. My lab had no other symptoms.
He was the very best of horses. I feel very lucky to have given him a bum scratch. Take care of yourself. Losing Alf and your lovely dog B in such a short space of time is really really hard.
Lots of love. xxx
