Today Atlas jumped the ditch/stream next to the barn a couple of times. He did not care, this was the second time and he jumped it the same the first. Ignore my horrid baby pony talk voice 
I also spent five mins hopping up and down on a bucket and leaning over him. He just wanted me to scratch him whilst I was up there.

Nothing exciting going on but this video makes me laugh so much (it shouldn't). Bog had quite literally just had a long drink from the water and walked off. But the minute the other two want some he has to go back and tell them no.
He just makes me laugh, he is such a boss, he may be a physical wreck but he hasn't lost an ounce of his self importance. He doesn't need to kick or bite the other two at all, just look at them to get what he wants. Haha.

My boy uses my mare as a mobile head scratching post. He’ll literally crash into her head first to rub his head. No please or thank you. He’s lucky she tolerates him.

Just caught up with this after a busy week at work. Atlas is ace! And I can’t get over how quickly he became Bog’s pet. Bog is looking great, but good plan on getting him checked.

You must know that I’d complained to palo and CC that he’s too sensible and boring lol.
He does this amazing thing where he kind of leg yields whilst bucking sideways too. I’ll try and find a video of it

He also kinda of puts himself in an outline when he trots, I guess he has an element of self carriage naturally. He’s never strung out looking always “up” and light and collected. Very interesting.

He is but.. tiny. I popped my 17 inch saddle on him and besides being a terrible fit it also looked too long.
Making some assumptions on his weight, to keep at 15% which I do think is best for backing/riding away a young horse.. I need to remain at my absolute thinnest and definitely not a whisper over 9 and a half stone by the time I’ve accounted for tack and clothes etc.
We will see what he looks like in spring!

Oh my god. atlas has JUMPED out of his run. I have no idea why or how he was in his stable at 6am on camera!!!! He would have had to either jump the 5 bar gate with a run up or jump the wooden at an angle that is to the right of this photo.
