Thank you!!! I feel properly happy today, not that sort of cautious/slight traumatised euphoria. I think I needed a bit of extra time to not feel like he may relapse and like I could genuinely see the light!

I’m actually hatching a plan to truly GO on holiday. The liveaboard company are being amazing and flexible with the boat although it may still not work, it’s already paid for, my friends here are utterly brilliant and the vets are basically kicking me out of the country

I accept all and any judgement if I leave whilst Boggle is recovering in hospital whilst I go and hang out under water (and with that human man friend but for the love of god don’t tell Bog) I think, I’m going to choose my own sanity over him on this one.

Accept judgement? You'd be a damned fool if you could still go and didn't. There's nothing you can do for him now that others can't and you know how well he'll be cared for.

I was serious about the camera, we can all watch it and if you leave one of us with a contact number you'll easily have 24 hour cover with the time zones HHOers live in.

Since you’ve just spent $20,000 in vets fees for Bog, I think you’ve proved your dedication to him (and that’s not even mentioning the stress you’ve been through) go and enjoy your holiday and release the horse stress doing something fun.

You should absolutely go on holiday whilst you can. Bog is on the mend, he is safe at the vets so nothing you can do for now. You will give him everything again, I’m sure, when he comes home. So grab the opportunity of the break and have some fun!

I'm so glad Boggle is doing better. The first thing I'm doing every morning is checking in for an update, then repeating this any chance I can during the day. So many of us here are routing for him!

I love the idea of the cam, but the signal at the barn and particularly by his stable is utterly useless. Definitely no 4g, I’m assuming I’d need that for it to work?
