Dog walk today: did you take a photo?

So grateful the farmer has allowed access to this ginormous field. I was sad to see his stile broken/smashed down over the years and he’s removed the peripheral path created by walkers (not a ROW). No crop this year.

Technically not a walk...guess who had leftover treats after flyball training. Featuring our friends Toller. Fen is loving coming to play. He does a 3 or 4 recalls, some training while the other dogs work so we can focus around distractions then he gets to run around and play at the end with our friends dogs.

Beautiful dog

Im fed up of the endless rain. The mountain bike blokes destroyed the track I use to go back to the carpark. By the time I got to the fork (they’d gone straight on by the looks of it), I was sweating with the effort, glasses steamed up, dripping from the rain. My hips hurt!

Not just a walk as such (we were moving tups with the ewes they’re to serve back to the common) and not a particularly clear photo but I just love the joy in her face. Working sheep is her favourite thing to do … ever.

Lovely quiet Sunday afternoon stroll at a local lake. Access road closes until end May from 1 Dec, so nice to get a last visit in before then. Little man is growing like a weed and will be a proper big boy by the time he next goes!

My mum took this of me and JD yesterday. She’ll be 15 next May and she still loves a run at the shore. We got her from a rescue in 2009 as a 4 month old pup. She’s like local celebrity here because of how unusual she looks and how long she’s been around.
(Lump on her side is a fatty lump- been vet checked- I refer to it as her side boob )

We did a swift road walk today, thinking I’d keep them clean as I’m taking my mum for a hospital appointment this afternoon.
Might as well have let them join round in the mud!

We have had a glorious dump over the last 24 hours. First since Oct, which is pretty shocking for us here. Took lovely little miss out for a long walk. When it's that deep it's proper resistance training... for me at least anyway. I was hoping she'd be more tired than she is now!
