They are not legally binging on anything that is illegal. So you could document clear abuse and report it and not be in breach not the NDA.
There needs to be education about NDAs for grooms - what they mean & cover, and national association pressure/action that if staff have to sign one your yard will be subject to far more random spot checks and horses inspected far more closely for abuse/scars.

Actually I think it's the money and perceived prestige that brings it out. The horses are still the kernel of the fascination, but people lose sight of the love and sacrifice it on the altar of ego.

I do wonder when I see things like this, whether looking at horses still sparks that feeling of excitement deep in the pit of their stomach that first ignited their interest in equestrianism, or whether they just see another asset in the usual course of business.

Just a couple of ad ons.There is no minimum wage in Denmark.Secondly I know a young German woman who has worked in the horse industry in Germany.They got no breaks in very long working days.You want to eat your lunch time sandwhich? Eat it while for instance you are bringing a horse in from a field.I asked about the EU working time directive and was told it doesn't apply to what are classified as "Agricultural Workers.".

Yes, Becks Nairn has no formal training in teaching or equine pathology She is a layperson pretending to be a vet, and is known to be very notorious. Her knowledge of biomechanics is very limited and poor. She has had several failed businesses and has never won a proper dressage competition in her life. She states she has trained her stallion from Group 2 to GP Level No one has ever seen her compete or ride at this level She states she can ride at a high level on social media One one will see her riding an old broken down stallion doing basic dressage circus tricks The stallion was purchased by one of many boyfriends, and this boyfried was well off. She is basically a beginner dressage rider with a very inflated ego She is now telling people how to breed dressage horses, and if one looks closely at her young stock They are all over the place conformation-wise, and some are severely cow hooked. One colt she was going to keep as a stallion was an absolute shocker. The Canterbury vets and other equine-trained professionals are keeping a close eye on her She has been reported to MPI for euthanizing horses without a vet's approval There is evidence that she has been doing this But, MPI has failed to follow up with Nairn. She is very manipulative, and cunning and knows how to navigate her way around the authorities She has done this for years and got away with it past When she was reported to SCPA for thin neglected horses, and other organizations When she was involved in the Charity Stable to Stirrip she often used artificial aides on traumatized standard-bred horses and experimented on them behind the scenes This woman is not here to help horses She is playing an unqualified horse butcher, only for the money and a following of easily lead people who have fallen for her con artistry skills. And last of all her big ego

I have ensured that the information I have shared is accurate and backed by reliable sources A vet and another highly qualified equine professional fronted her personally on her own Espona Vet was one of the vets who reported her to MPI MPI never followed up with the complaints ( they only called Nairn) Nairn is not sitting well with other vets, other equine and academics She is not qualified to tell people to euthanise their horses So can she butcher them without a vets authority

I wondered about this. Difficult position for Annabelle to be in, but I really wouldn’t want any association with that family, particularly if I was trying to make a name for myself in the sport.

With posts like Observer's I tend to assume that it's something they feel strongly about. So when they see the topic on here it, it's a trigger to sign and post.
I didn't know any of the details about Nairn pts horses herself or that she's been reported by other. I started following her after seeing her "promoted" on here and me, who knows nothing, thought what she was sharing wasn't factual, for want of a better word.
She didn't answer questions when asked about her training/qualifications and didn't react well to being questioned (by others on fb comments, not me).
I put her in the same category as the liar and falsifier of qualifications Celeste/travelling horse witch.
I really wish people would stop "promoting" these people as resources when they are unqualified liars.

There was a drama on Nairn's forum when the Espona Vet and another equine professional fronted her Nairn became very aggressive and went into her usual " victim mode", and garnered sympathy ( when confronted with the truth ) from her many enablers who were promoting her. Espona Vet is was one of the vets who reported her to MPI, there is a clip on her FB page where she advises the owners to euthanize a horse She did another dissection on a horse and made a diagnosis that the horse had been fridge-gassed, and again there was no evidence to back her claims She was fronted by a member from Harness Racing New Zealand Who asked her to show some factual evidence She blocked him The main thing she is being watched by the vets and other well qualified equine specialist
