She is really nice I don't think her back looks too bad you can improve on a sway back with correct work and making sure the posture is good.

If the belly was dropped I would agree it can be brought up, but hers isn't and if you ignore the saddle it's a bad case, I think. There's a reason why she's been photographed in the saddle.

It is very hard to tell in those pictures so yeah your probably right, Arabi has a tendancy to sag in the middle when out of work but it soon improves once his muscles get strong.

I think greys were ruled out. I believe we are looking for bright bay or chestnut with not too much white

Is 17.1 too big. Tbaita have a 8 yo chestnut ex nh called York in Liverpool. Useless photos, you'd have to ask for better ones.

I would worry about soundness in one that big. Plus i really don't need to pay for someone else to have retained them already, and the retraining is part of the fun so I would like one direct off the track.

Way too big. Cost to keep even if you can keep him sound?

Don't think he's really done much beyond assessment and starting but would be bigger than I'd want too.

I genuinely don't care what horses are called, but even I might draw the line at 'Eviscerating'!

Just had a conversation with my OH that went
Me " Why on earth would you call a horse ' Eviscerating ' ? "
OH " That's it's actual name ? "
Me " Yep "
OH " Poor thing . It must be gutted . "

I'd settle for a name that could be pronounced. I had Saint Francois (which was usually saynt frankwas) and then Pro Valour (Pro Velour like the material). It doesn't help that they can't manage my surname so I've nearly finished by the time they get through it.

Re height, we had a pole work clinic at the yard the other day and warming up around the designs, I was cantering down the quarter line then looping out to h to m before going back in down the other long side. I was very happy with my 16.1 who's nippy and not a big gangly thing.

I don't need to pay that much, I'm looking for one straight off the racetrack, not one that's been assessed and schooled a bit and doubled in price.

His hocks are too straight, he's flashing his tail and I'd put money on hind end issues being why he's thrown in the towel racing.
.
Sorry didn't pay much attention other than he thinks he's a cob 🤣
