I had this with a little mare I had. The vet said that a rise in protein in the grass can cause this especially if they have foaled before. We even had her scanned as she was producing milk.
I have clipped my 3yr old this winter. He is a fell pony and was getting hot and uncomfortable. I have taken out his bib and belly and he so much more comfortable.
When my daughter was younger we went to have a hat fitted but they were too heavy. They recommended using a cycle helmet which we did for a couple of years. I put a hat cover on it and you couldn't tell the difference. Hopes this helps.

I passed my test before the new laws come in. I really like the space in the Sinclairs and they are light to tow as far as I've been told which means I can borrow my dad's diesel Zafira to tow 1 pony.
What is your favourite brand of second hand trailer? I cannot afford a new trailer so have been looking at Sinclair trailers as people have said that they like them. My dad is an engineer and can carry out renovations. I did have an old Rice trailer once but didn't like it.

Don't seem to be able to vote but it is a yes from me. Don't see it's any different to having separate boards like tack room and competition riders. Everyone has their own opinion though and that's what makes the world go round!
