Sorry to hear you are feeling shakey. After 3 utterly stupid and unpredictable TBs I have bought myself the most perfect ID. I owe him everything. Is there something in your yard that is guaranteed quiet that you can borrow for a little while. I went from scared of hacking to xc in a few months
I'm really not bothered by colour. It's hard enough to find a sound, sane, useful horse that there is no way I wouldn't buy it due to colour. In fact it sounds a bit silly to me????
I really feel for you here. I got one that turned out to be more lively that the school master he was advertised as. Thankfully I had a trial period so he went back.
I might be unpopular here but if I buy a schoolmaster after 2 weeks I would expect to be able to do some small events with him...
Sadly not. Mine are not only not horsey, but they are anti- horse. They don't understand the time or money required and blame not having a grandchild on horses. They often say I am weird
Font understand why she had another try of him? Surely you just say thanks for your time but u think you aren't what we are looking for. I have done it loads of times. Generally people understand
I'm so thankful it's not just me. I also miss the memos about the 'in' gear. Eg I'm still not in the 5 point breast plate gang.
Covering the basics is a massive achievement for me too.
I've had horses for ever so don't mean general care ect but competing wise. Always feel like everyone else knows just what they are doing and have a plan. I'm always thinking we don't look as good, not as ready or prepared and generally winging it? Or schooling at home, everyone looks effortless...
