    Do magnets work?

I know that they work on my pain and use them regularly so if I had cause to I would try them on Ru

how can you fall off a horse?!

Falling off is one of my talents, one day if I ever retire from competing or go into train I think I could give lessons in how to do it hard, and often. Not fallen off Ru yet but there is definitely time!

How old where you or you children when learning to ride

I was 4. My mom had bought herself a grey Arabian gelding - Ambition - who hated her. He'd doing anything to get her off, but she noticed that with me he was sweet and gentle and acted just like a big dog. So, with a lot of trepidation me, born without a left hand, was put on top of a young...

http://www.hollybergay.com I'm in the process of redoing it because it can be slow on some browsers.

    Sponsorship...

I currently have six sponsors, or several other companies who have made one off donations to me, so I've had a bit of experience on the relationship side of things. Firstly, my website clearly sets out what I want and why, I don't think you can justify asking for a sponsor without these things...

Spurs? Do you ride with them?

I do, but I do (fairly :p) high dressage so I'm expected to do transitions with pinpoint accuracy. I use them on every ride :) On Lil and Bella I used Waterfords, because both were very hot horses who didn't need so much, with Ru I use Prince of Wales because he can take a bit more encouragement.

People commenting on your horse riding

I never really got it until I started riding Ru, who is very talented and previously did GP whereas I'm a graded Para' riding at a lower level. I always figure his owner must see something in me to let me compete him, and if someone with so much experience who has bred some of America's best...

Any other Floridians on the forum?!

California born and raised here :) Still the US, but I couldn't get much further away if I tried! Still, you've gotta love being by the water

    What/who have you got? :)

Hi :) I ride dressage but have certain health issues meaning I need very special horses - thankfully I've been very lucky I have Soliloquy, Lilly, who is a 22 year old Warmblood. Still out competing, just to a lower level These next two I ride but don't own - sadly Bella And Rubi...

Advanced dressage comp riders - opinions on light or heavy contact?

Ri I had to make an account just to laugh at this! I ride Rubi now, and thankfully he appreciates that he can't be so heavy through the contact anymore! As a para-dressage rider I prefer a horse with a lighter contact because it makes it easier for me to balance and stay centered, as long as...
