That's interesting, I wonder how that was tested for - and whether we could do a similar testing in dogs?I dont know the percentage in dogs but temperament is around 35% heritable in cattle

Druid,The 10 day hold is only to assess if the dog has clinical rabies, that's the incubation period. It's not relevant here as we don't have rabies endemic in UK
Druid,
Did rabies not become a threat with the Chunnel?
What's that? Just an abbreviation of channel tunnel or??the Chunnel?
Where's that been reported? The dog which killed the ten year old girl in Yorkshire is a X L bully
If it was my dog I would get it PTS immediately, no need for assessment. You can't assess the behaviour of a dead dog.

If your dog has been seized by the police you cannot make the pts decision. As has been said by CC.I’ve read everything and still would do the same although the likelihood of one of mine having access to a child not related to me is pretty much nil. I’m thinking in context of my niece's 4 year old child and I would have no hesitation in that situation and police wouldn’t be involved
It's on MetroWhere's that been reported?
now im scaredOh my sweet summer child
now im scared
i had to google g00ning the other day
Odin bit me, not long after we got him. Obviously I would never leave any of our dogs unattended with a child. I ended up on AB’s when the bite got infected. Clodagh told me to be very careful with him. A year on, and he’s never bitten anyone since, and he really does love all people. We think we know why he bit, he let go as soon as he made contact. It's not about comparing it to a dead child, it's in the context of those who say any dog who bites a person should be immediately put to sleep.I know it's an emotive subject but you're attributing thoughts and feelings and motive to me that I don't have
News paper, I think DMWhere's that been reported?
